• About Asteroid Institute

  • ®

Asteroid Institute®, a program of B612 Foundation®, brings together scientists, researchers, and engineers to develop tools and technologies to understand, map, and navigate our solar system. As with many frontiers that have come before, mapping is key to opening the space frontier. Enabling a comprehensive map of the solar system will advance scientific exploration, unlock economic opportunities, and identify potential asteroid threats. Central to our mission is the Asteroid Discovery Analysis and Mapping (ADAM) open-source astrodynamics platform, designed to enable at-scale analysis of moving-object data for small body discovery, characterization, and impact monitoring.

Support our Work

Our work is entirely funded by private individual donors of the B612 Foundation, who share our vision of a future where a map of the solar system drives scientific discovery, innovation, and safety for future generations.

Donate to help propel our mission forward.
