Our Open Source Projects

Asteroid Institute, a program of B612 Foundation, is firmly committed to advancing the field through the principles of open-source collaboration and transparency. We understand the importance of rigorous, open auditing and validation of our algorithms, and thus we stand by the power of open-source tools to ensure this scrutiny and trust. While we develop some proprietary tools, we firmly believe that our fundamental technological foundation should be openly accessible to the wider astronomy community. Our goal is not only to advance our own research but to support and enable the progress of others, and we are dedicated to supporting open-source tools that can back diverse projects. We invite anyone interested to explore our projects below, and we welcome any contributions or feedback. If you use our tools we would appreciate attribution to B612 Asteroid Institute and a link to the tool used.
